🍯 Toasted Sesame Honey Simple Syrup

Ingredients
You will need:
- 1 cup raw local honey
- 1 cup hot water
- 3 tsp white or tuxedo sesame seeds
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Toast sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until fragrant
- Remove immediately to prevent burning and let cool slightly
- Combine honey and hot water in a jar and stir until fully smooth
- Add toasted sesame seeds and a pinch of salt
- Cover and steep at room temperature for 2–4 hours
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer
- Refrigerate (keeps up to 2 weeks)
